This crash course introduces students to the essentials of on-set sound recording. We will cover microphone types, boom operation, and basic recording strategies for dialogue and ambience. Short exercises provide hands-on Practice, preparing participants to support each other in film shoots. The course emphasizes practical problem solving and integrates sound directly into the students’ own film projects. No prior knowledge is required, and the seminar is open to all departments.
